I did the 4 days Salkantay-trip with Ecowaykis together with 2 more friends. We were the only "passengers" on the trip so we only were a small but powerful group. Edwin was a great tourguide and we really had a fantastic time on the treck and we had a lot of fun - always having a sip of German Schnaps when we reached the major milestones of the treck.... The landscape on the Salkantay treck is amazing and changes every day from mystical mountains over to the semitropical forests and finally magic Machu Picchu!

Edwin knows a lot about the local flora and founa and all the history of the Inka and andean people as well as their customs and religious beliefs which was all really interesting and informative. When reaching the Salkantay pass we also made a donation to the gods....

The camping equipment is modern and we loved our yellow "eating tent". The food was delicious - thanks to our wonderful cook Ronald and our equipment was always ready in our camps thanks to our nice horseman Rolando. (Guys I hope I did not mix up your names again...!!)

Overall, I can only say that this trip was a great experience I do not want to have missed. Thanks again and take care.
