We pick you up at the hotel at 5:00 am and travel by bus for approximately 2 hours to Huaran (2840 m / 9317ft) On the way we stop at Calca where we have the chance to buy the missing provisions for the trek. We continue the bus ride to a nice small village in the Sacred Valley Our trek will start at the village called Huarán. (Colonial Hacienda). We will meet our horseman and mules here and begin a beautiful hike through the lush valley, following the gentle uphill route of the Cancha Cancha River. It will take four-five hours to reach the picturesque village of the same name. Here we will set up our camp for the nigh. During our day track we observe colourful birds and unique beautiful flowers. Height: 2700 m.

Day 2:
After breakfast around 7.30 am, we start the most difficult part of the trek. The challenge is on the way. This path is basically steep and it takes two to three hours trekking to reach the Pachacutec Pass (4458 m / 14625ft) the highest point of the trek. From here we have spectacular views of the snow-peaked mountain, Pitusiray, Pachacutec Lake and the surrounding valleys. After the pass, we shall continue walking and descend into the next valley to reach Quiswarani village, where will spend our second night. Height: 3700 m / 12138ft

Day 3:
Early wake up after breakfast we start trekking about three hours to reach the Huillquijasa Pass (4200 m / 13779 ft) the second highest pass of the trek. The view is impressive and worth the effort. Passing village of Cuncani, we can see beautiful turquoise volcanic lakes along the path. We continue descending to Cuncani; the trail leads downhill, it takes three hours to reach the town of Lares (3100 m). On the way we can have a 30 minutes stop to take a relaxing bath in an open-air thermal bath. (Bring a swimming suit). About one in the afternoon the bus will pick us up and leave for Ollantaytambo. After visiting the Inca fortes the take a train to Aguas Calientes. Height 2080 m / 6864ft

Day 4:
Early wake up call a Wonderful day. After breakfast we catch the first bus at 5:30 in the morning up to Machu Picchu. During a two and a half hour city tour your Tour Guide will introduce you the most beautiful Inca town with its unique architecture. We insure you, that you will spend an unforgettable time in this mysterious city. After the guided tour you can discover Machu Picchu by yourselves. If you have energy you can also climb Huayna Picchu (2720m) it takes about 45 minutes to reach the top.
You will meet your guide in Aguas Calientes, for lunch. He will give you the train tickets back to Cusco. The train usually leaves at 3.55pm. You will arrive back to Cusco about 8.45pm.
If you decide to spend an extra night in Aguas Calientes it can be arranged. This option is very popular as it allows more time to discover Machu Picchu, the secret town of the Inca. You can also have the possibility to visit the “HOT SPRINGS” the thermal medicinal water of the town. The name of the town Aquas Calientes means hot springs Heights: 2080-2450-3430 m
