HUCHUY QOSQO 2D-1N

This alternative is short walk can visit the archaeological site of Huchuyqosqo and in turn the citadel of Machu Picchu, is very interesting to walk along the Andean landscapes we Lagoons and Andean populations in which they maintain their customs and traditions. ITINERARY

Day 01: Cusco - Huchuy qosqo - Aguas Calientes.

Pick up from hotel and transfer to Chinchero, (Town of Tauca.) We will hike until the first pass (4,100 m), walking in the first part of which takes you through 3 hours. During the day we can see Llamas and Alpacas. Then go down in 1 hour 50 about the archaeological site of Huchuy Qosqo.
From Huchuy Qosqo after a tour will begin to decline by about two hours approx. In this place where we enjoy our lunch, then continue our walk to Lamay, where we expect our Transportation and then drive to the town of Ollantaytambo. Passing through Calca, Yucay, Urubamba and Yanahuara.

20:15 A trip to Aguas Calientes train arriving at an approx. at 22.00 Hostal in Aguas Calientes.
After breakfast, quite early climb by bus to the citadel of Machu Picchu tour the archaeological site of Machu Picchu, then you have some free time to visit the citadel. In the afternoon we descend by bus to Aguas Calientes town where you can enjoy your lunch in a restaurant recommended by the guide. At 6:03 p.m. we will be returning by train to Ollantaytambo and from here by bus heading for Cusco.
