Program Itinerary

Day 1: Mystical Rute : Cusilluchayoq, Temple of the Moon and X Zone

At 8. 50am meet at ECOWAYKYS office. We will take private transport to the Ranch near Qenko and get set up with our horses and meet the horseman who will walk with you through the extent of the trek. The landscape will offer us spectacular views of the mountains, snow-peaks, deep Andean valleys and the life of the people living here.
You will pass through areas of light forest as you continue to the towards the smaller ruins of Cusilluchayoc, which is a smaller, but still very mystical Inca site and finally we will visit x zone. You will then begin your return to the ranch by means of a different route, which will take you past the famous Inca site, Saqsayhuaman, which is the most popular of all the Cusco ruins. We will take you just to the ranch and then you can walk back down to Cusco via San Cristobal. This is a pleasant 25 minute walk providing perfect photo opportunities over the City of cusco from the church of San Cristóbal and plaza. If you prefer you can take a taxi back to your hotel but the walk is lovely if you have sturdy shoes for the steps down.
